Signage

Signage is a great way to showcase the Explore Minnesota brand to everyone visiting CHS Field and watching on TV/Live Stream.

 

The Saints were able to host 31,500 fans for games at CHS Field. 

 

Explore Minnesota received additional exposure on TV and streamed games. Each Sunday home game, 2 total, was aired live on KSTC Channel 45tv. Every Saints home game was streamed online via Vimeo (53,000 streams), which was accessible through the Saints & league websites, and is broadcast on cable access channels in all Twin Cities metro communities. The visibility also extends to the Saints social media followers when game clips are posted to Facebook, Twitter & Instagram.

 

Lastly, the Saints were able to showcase TV commercials during Saints home games (streamed and on Channel 45) as well as during the Senior Class Salute Tournament.

Explore Minnesota Destination Videos

The Saints worked with Explore Minnesota to highlight six regions of Minnesota through a special featured social media series. The Saints ushertainers and video content team went to these Minnesota destinations to create really entertaining, fun content. The six videos produced have received over 130,000 impressions so far, and the Saints plan to continue to include these videos in a number of their mediums to continue the visibility of the series.

Radio Broadcast

For the 2020 season, the Saints aired for all 60 games, on KFAN+ 96.7FM and streamed on the iHeart radio app. Explore Minnesota had 2 x :30 second advertisements during all Saints games as well as a live feature on radio and TV broadcasts for each game.

Saintsbaseball.com continues to be the best resource available for fans looking for information on everything Saints and CHS Field related, and is the number one way to purchase Saints tickets to any event. With more than 1.2 million home page views and 850,000 unique visitors in 2020, the Explore Minnesota messaging provided an opportunity to gain great visibility and reach our audience.

 

Explore Minnesota received a full year rotating click thru ad on the Saintsbaseball.com home page, rectangle click thru ad on schedule page or static advertisement on the schedule page.

In-Ballpark Engagement

Explore Minnesota was able to engage Saints fans in Sioux Falls and in St. Paul this summer and fall through the Explorer distribution and #OnlyinMN monument activation. Over the summer, Saints staff were able to distribute 4,000 spring/summer and 800 fall MN Explorers starting in Sioux Falls at Saints games and running throughout the Saints season at CHS Field. The Fall Explorers were handed out during the special Bacon and Beer Oktoberfest event. Additionally, the special Oktoberfest event included the #OnlyinMN small monument for CHS Field guests to interact with.
